ANGER
Today was a really P.Oed day.. mainly cause of what happened at Sim Lim.. The shop I bought my video card from gave me really bad customer support and really bad attitude which really pissed me off.. Haven't felt this pissed off in a really long time. Well at least not in the past few months.. and it was like this dam waiting to burst inside of me and I had to restrain it which thankfully I did.. or else there would be an incident.. Really utterly crap..
Man I feel lousy..

We beat the Ashleys!!

Don Quixote and Sancho Panza
They are 2 interesting characters. But even more interestingly enough I heard of them thru a cartoon that used to air on tv called Don Coyote and Sancho Panda. But the story was similar. Don Quixote (Don Coyote) used to chase after windmills which resulted in the proverb "chasing after windmills".. in his own warped version of reality, he thought they were dragons (if I'm not wrong) among other things and Sancho Panza was his unfortunate sidekick who went along with whatever Don Quixote did..
Where am I going with this? Well are we chasing our own "windmills"? Are we seeing something that isn't there.. or is something there that we are not allowing ourselves to see? All boils down to perception.

Ode to Cheesecake

IQ = Idiot Quotient?
Came up with a new theory today while waiting for Auntie Nancy to buy dinner for the party tonight. Was waiting in one of the car parks at East Coast Park Beach which I went in cause I just needed a place to wait and that crowded seemed less active. So I went in. 2 cars were waiting there with hazard light on. Then ok not long after, a mercedez came in saw the long queue of cars, but still went all the way to the end of the car park as if to see if there were lots there, which is super dumb cause if there were lots, you don't think the 3 cars already there would have parked? So nevermind.. one car.. then another car came, this time a volvo.. volvo did the same thing.. hmm.. a trend starting to form, then came a MPV. It saw the queue, came in and left straight away. Then another car came, a honda and did the same thing. Which led me to this conclusion:
"There's something about people that drive big and expensive cars that make them confidently stupid. Confident, but still stupid.. " :D
Thus I came up with the compliment to the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test. That is the Idiot Quotient test.Basically when you're young (physical age), you can do more stupid things (allocated more stupid points), when you're older, you get less points. So there is a list of stupid things which have points. If u exceed ur allocated points, then u are officially an idiot.

cancer - any malignant growth or tumor caused by abnormal and uncontrolled cell division; it may spread to other parts of the body through the lymphatic system or the blood stream
Something's happening. And it seems to be spreading. How and why I don't really know.. at least not yet. A picture seems to be forming already. In my mind's eye I see something. But perhaps my own judgement cannot be trusted as I fear it might have affected me already. In fact my overall judgement and analysis of events have been off tangent for a while now. My logic which I used to rely on is failing more often now. Maybe what has been written here before, is being written now and will be written are all a skewed perspective. I do not know.

After a long time away
Not been blogging for a while, but I have been lurking around other people's blogs.. haha.. Easier.. less effort needed. Since the last update, everything has been a whirlwind.. projects, weddings and assignments. It's really a tough life. Wedding is over. Projects are gaining momentum and 1 more assignment to go. Don't really feel like griping abt them here and now. So I'll just state some observations.
Just realised that one of my lecturers sounds like Marvin the Martian from Loony Tunes.. haha.. for those that know the character good.. those that don't.. well never mind. Anyway he teaches very slow. So slow that I commented that he teaches like an episode of Slam Dunk or a taiwanese soap opera which Soon Hock commented that Korean soaps are evey slower moving.. so around there lah.. you all get the idea
Another thing is food. Food is a wonderfully amazing topic. Like how did the first person come to the conclusion that coconut shavings could be made into coconut milk? Or that pong pong fruit is poisonous? Or that puffer fish is also poisonous? For the last 2, probably they died, but why do people still eat the puffer fish? What is it abt something that makes people look at it and say "I shall eat that".. humans are so weird
